Pokémon GO V1.37 Recap:
- On June 17th, Gyms were temporarily disabled prior to the newest update to add the all-new motivation system.
- Sightings indicate additional Pokéstops are being turned into gyms along with the update
- On June 22th, Gyms were accessible again.
- You can now collect gym badges.
- Added in-app and push notification system for Gyms.
- The maximum Bag size is now 1500 items rather than 1000. It still requires purchasing Bag upgrades.
- Added Raid Battles, a new cooperative gameplay experience.
- On June 22th, Level 35 and above players can now participate in Raid Battles. Niantic states that over the next few days, they will invite more players to participate in Raid Battles at even more Gyms around the world.
- Added four new Items available only by completing Raid Battles. Those are Premier Ball, Premium Raid Pass, Raid Pass and Rare Candy.
- Premier Ball: Allows for capture of the defeated boss in a Raid Battle.
- Premium Raid Pass: Allows for participation in multiple Raid Battles
- Raid Pass: Allows for participation in one Raid Battle
- Rare Candy: Acts as a candy of any Pokémon
- Players can now buy 6 Max Revives for 180 Coins or 10 Max Potions for 200 Coins in Pokémon GO. Available even before unlocking them.
- Added Raids tab to Nearby screen.
- Added search functionality to Pokémon collection screen. Can search by Name, Type, CP, Whether it Evolves and Moves.
- Can search by Added visual indicator to unvisited PokéStops.
- Added new Medals.
- Various graphical enhancements on items such as PokéBalls
- Go Plus hasn’t activated at any gym yet.
